After working at A.C. Moore* for many years, I was lucky enough to meet and work alongside incredible local artists.
Being surrounded by their passion, I was inspired to find my own artistic voice.
Mivanie is my space to explore fibre arts like crochet, knitting, sewing, and embroidery.
Every piece is made slowly, blending together of traditional techniques with modern-day design.

*If you never got the chance to walk through an A.C. Moore, you really missed out on something special. Artists, crafters, and teachers flocked there, not just for tools and supplies, but for inspiration. With frequent coupons, hands-on demos, and relatively friendly staff (retail is a special kind of workplace, ya know?) it was closer to a creative hub than a retail store.
I miss it dearly...
